Through this one in the same pile as Jennifer Lopez winning “Most Beautiful” of the year from People Magazine - Us Weekly has named Jessica Simpson their “Style Icon of the Year” of the year. For. Real. They’re not just talking about her fashion lines - which, admittedly are doing very well. They’re talking Jessica Simpson as a Style Icon, because she wears stuff like reindeer leggings (which were pushing their limit), translucent muumuus, and torn jeans to fancy restaurants. But… I have to say, Jessica’s interview with Us Weekly is kind of cute. She uses a phrase that I’m totally going to steal. Take it away, Farty!

Describe your style.
JS: Very laid-back, with hints of flash. I love to wear denim with a corset, or the opposite: a flannel shirt over a dress. Even if I’m walking around my house in Uggs and my favorite yummy sweater, I still have on a headband or something cute.

Looking back, was there a risk that didn’t work?
JS: High-waisted jeans are a risk for me - I’m short! They don’t work unless I’m wearing major platforms and something flattering up top, but not a high collar. If I don’t show my collarbone, I skew uni-boob. We have some high-waisted jeans coming out that I might try. But it does make me sweat, I have to say!

Who are your favorite designers?
JS: Donna Karan for evening, Alexander McQueen for spring and summer. I’d love to gift myself something from Etro, like a caftan. I love H&M, and Topshop for lower-end, trendy pieces.

Is Ashlee one of your style advisors?
JS: My sister can put anything on and it works. My curves are a challenge. I have to be more conscious of what I’m wearing so I don’t look like a complete tool. Ashlee is a rock star!

Will you help design your wedding dress?
JS: I think every bride wants to be involved in that. I’m still trying to figure out what we’re going to do about all of the plans. We have four dates floating around - we both have huge families, so I think it’s going to end up being big!

What makes you feel sexy?
JS: Eric brings out my womanly side. Being loves - even when I’m blowing my nose - makes me feel sexy. Though I wouldn’t say that you have to have a guy to feel sexy. I just own myself more now that I have someone to love for the rest of my life.

I LOVE “If I don’t show my collarbone, I skew uni-boob.” I feel the same way! It’s like… once your boobs get to a certain size, you can really no longer wear high crewnecks or turtlenecks. You just look like a really heavy, mono-boobed blob. You have to show some skin up top just to look and feel normal. Oh, Jessica. I love you for that quote. I also loved the obliviousness of “High-waisted jeans are a risk for me.” Um, REALLY? Because historically, most of Jessica’s fashion disasters have started with high-waisted jeans, and it has nothing to do with her being short and everything to do with her thicker abdomen. Whatever, Farty!

WOAH. Jenny From The Block is BACK. Jennifer Lopez attended a signing of her new album Love? at a Best Buy in L.A. and she wore a totally throwback ensemble with a bra top underneath a blazer, showing off her toned abs.

I mean…if I had abs like that after giving birth to twins…I’d probably want to show them off too. There’s a reason she’s the most beautiful woman in the world. But I’m still not so sure Jennifer’s outfit it working for me.

Gossip Cop had this exclusively several days ago, but I didn’t run with it because I didn’t want to believe that Jennifer Lopez was named People Magazine’s “Most Beautiful” yet again. I’m pretty sure she got it in the early 2000s. It just seems like… meh. Yeah, I think Jennifer is very pretty, but I’d like to see some new ladies get the title. Can I get some Anne Hathaway into this junk? Maybe some Kate Middleton (it would be timely!)? How about some Jon Hamm? I mean, I know the “Most Beautiful” title traditionally goes to a lady, but WHY NOT THE HAMM? (I want that on a t-shirt.) So, blah, whatever, Jennifer is Most Beautiful:

    Jennifer Lopez admits she loves glamming it up as a judge on American Idol or for her upcoming album, Love?.

    But at home with husband Marc Anthony and their 3-year-old twins, Max and Emme, Lopez is a zero-makeup kind of mom. “That’s when I’m my happiest,” she says in this week’s exclusive cover story. “Just being able to touch my face and rub my eyes and put my fingers in my hair and not having to worry about messing it up. It’s so much better.”

    From her skincare regimen to her grueling workouts and portion-controlled diet, Lopez says she makes a concerted effort to stay in top form. “The thing is, it’s part of my job,” says the singer, who ran a triathlon six months after she gave birth. “I don’t want anybody thinking it’s easy. It does take time and it’s hard work. HDTV wide-screen is nobody’s friend!”

    Lopez, 41, also has learned valuable beauty tips over the years, and says daughter Emme is starting to prove she’s her mother’s child. “She is very girly-girl, just like me since I was very little. She loves for me to paint her nails,” Lopez says. “She lays out her clothes on the floor like I do with my stylist and she’s like, ‘This matches very good!’ ”

    And what about son Max? “He wants to paint his nails too. Because for him, it’s just paint. He’s like, ‘I want the blue!’” Lopez says, laughing. “Then Marc is like, ‘Why are Max’s nails painted?!’ But he won’t sit still so it’s only like two nails.”

    As for being called a “diva,” she says, “I kind of like it. We’ve kind of owned it now. But I certainly don’t like and I’ve never been a person who has what they call ‘diva behavior,’ which is something they tried to pin on me for a long time.”

Stop trying to play like you’re just some normal working mother who can relate to all of the moms out there. But that’s who Jennifer is trying to be now - she’s all mainstream now that she’s on American Idol. J.Lo is Middle America. Guess how Middle America she is? She sends her nannies to Target. FOR REAL.

Apparently the other big names on the “Most Beautiful” list include a who’s who of C-list bitches in desperate need of good publicity. Zac Efron… Jessica Alba… Anne Heche, Hayden Panettiere, Angie Harmon. Ugh. Also included: Clooney, Bullock and Beyonce.

Jennifer Lopez was thrilled when her husband Marc Anthony gave her a 14-carat diamond band to celebrate their first wedding anniversary, and now she considers it among her most prized possessions.

She said: “My favorite piece of jewelry that I own is a ring my husband gave me for our first anniversary. It’s a solitaire, a 14 carat blue diamond ring, a very rare diamond. It was a big deal, I’d been married a year.”

Jennifer insists nothing is more important to her than her family, and admits she and Marc look forward to spending time at home with their three-year-old twins Max and Emme.

When quizzed on how she escapes the pressures of fame, she told Britain’s OK! magazine: “I go home. We go to our houses, that’s where we get to be alone and have family time. When we go on vacation to Cabo or Europe or a tropical island, there’s usually paparazzi. So it’s when we’re in our own home that we really get time to ourselves. We don’t get to be home very often so it feels like a vacation.”

When Karen Rodriguez was voted out of American Idol last night she was given one last chance to convince the judges to save her from elimination. She chose to sing Mariah Carey's "Hero" and at least one judge, Jennifer Lopez, was so moved that she was caught fighting back tears.

After huddling with the other judges, Randy Jackson broke the news to Karen that they wouldn't save her, but he also told her that decision was not unanimous among the three. It was obvious that J.Lo, a K.Ro fan from the beginning of the season, was choking back emotions after voting to save her from elimination.

"This is not unanimous, I must say," Randy started out. "I mean we talked about this quite a bit. The judges here, we're not going to use the save tonight unfortunately. Thank you very much though."



Jennifer pushed her chair away from the judges table as Randy finished and appeared to be biting her lip. This isn't the first time she's shown emotion during an elimination. When the judges eliminated Chris Medina, whose wife is suffering from serious brain damage following a car accident, J.Lo wept and openly questioned her ability to be a judge on the show.

Held in celebration of the Weinstein Company’'s Academy Award Nominees and the New Montblanc Charity Partnership with the Princess Grace Foundation-USA, the swanky west coast soiree also drew out "American Idol" judge Jennifer Lopez and her Latin singer hubby Marc Anthony.

With "Glee" hottie Dianna Agron spotted getting chummy with "Gossip Girl" actress Jessica Szohr, the slate of attendees was rounded out by lovely ladies including Kate Beckinsale and Kate Walsh.

We’re just a few weeks away from the premiere of ‘American Idol’s’ 10th season. Ryan Seacrest, Randy Jackson, and Jennifer Lopez share that it’s different without Simon and there’s a completely new feel to the show.

Randy Jackson shared that everyone wants to know who the “new” Simon is:

“we definitely miss [Cowell], but it’s a different kind of vibe. It’s a different energy now. It’s not about replacing [Cowell] or any of the others. People have been saying to us, ‘Who’s mean?’ We’ve traded off on that because I think you have to always give people the truth, no matter what.”

Jennifer Lopez says it’s more of a group effort now:

“We’re more of a collaborative judging group. We’re always leaning over to each other and saying, ‘Oh my God, I think she’s good.’ ‘Or, I don’t get it.’ ‘You don’t like it?’ ” she tells the magazine. “We just have a totally different style than any of the past judging tables.”

Ryan Seacrest adds:

It’s going to be an all new show,” Seacrest says.

Are you ready for an “all new” Idol? I have to admit that my curiosity is piqued by the new judges, so I might take a look to see how the dynamic has changed.

Steven Tyler Won't Act Like Simon Cowell

Having already sat in for numerous season 10 auditions, Steven Tyler has a clear idea of how he'll serve as an American Idol judge. And it won't be akin to a certain cantankerous Brit.

"I'm really not one for giving insults," Tyler says. "[Contestants] have a voice and I don't want them not singing to their kids when they grow up."

The show will likely feature fewer trainwrecks during its opening set of episodes, which should make things easier for Tyler. Below, however, this Christmas promo does give voice to those without a good voice:

As for his new partner in judging, Tyler has nothing but great things to say about Jennifer Lopez.

"First and foremost, she's a lady and she's not afraid to show that at any given time... she's exactly what I thought she'd be. She's street."

Jennifer Lopez has probably burned a couple of effigies of ex-husband Ojani Noa at this point, but the guy just won’t go away. Radar Online reports the new ‘American Idol’ judge has attorneys back in court to block the release of more private videos that supposedly show the actress exposing herself.

“JLo is riding a scooter in public in Cuba, while talking to the camera and numerous by-standers, with her privates in as plain view asParis Hilton, Brittany Spears and Lindsay Lohan have in the past,” said Ed Meyer, a rep for Lopez’s ex-hubby.

“This is among other nudity on her part in the now 21 hours of home movies, that we have so far recovered.”

The tape does not contain full-on sex, but is said to grant a revealing glimpse of the singer, including her with “no underwear” and “vagina in plain view”, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Apparently, Ojani and Ed Meyer are planning to make a feature film of Ojani’s one-year marriage to Jennifer, and these home videos are part of it.

Jennifer’s attorneys reportedly are claiming the release of these videos violates the injunction she has in place, but Ed is arguing he (as a co-producer) isn’t bound to this agreement.
