8th Annual Stuart House Benefit Draws Out the Stars
Gathering together for a good cause, the stars were out for John Varvatos' 8th Annual Stuart House Benefit at the John Varvatos Store in West Hollywood, California on Sunday (March 13).
Spearheaded by event chairs, "Grey's Anatomy" actor Patrick Dempsey and his wife Jillian, the charitable function included food, auctions, luxury shopping and children's activities.
With celebs such as Zoe Saldana, Brooke Burke, James Van Der Beek and Jayma Mays all partaking, the Stuart House Benefit also featured a performance by K.D. Land and The Siss Boom Bang along with a concert and live auction with Emcee Bill Bellamy.
As for the cause, the party raised funds for Stuart House - which describes itself as "an innovative facility established by the RTC, remedies many of the problems in the traditional system that often revictimize these profoundly traumatized children, such as multiple, repetitive interviews in cold, institutional settings; low prosecution rates; and critical shortages in expert medical care and therapy services."
The child-aiding center has a stated mission to solve these problems by looking at the system through a child's eyes.
